The U.S. Washington, D.C. Police Department has now arrested at least 13 protesters.

Robert Conti, the U.S. police chief in Washington, D.C., said on January 6 local time that at least 13 pro-Trump protesters at the Capitol have been arrested and at least five weapons have been confiscated.

Kandy said that there were no locals in Washington, and the police continued to treat the violence at the scene and maintain peace in the Capitol. At present, several police officers have been injured in the work of riot control.
