January 6, Ouyang Yujing, the new Chinese ambassador to Malaysia, submitted a copy of his credentials to Wang Zaidi, Director of Protocol Department of the Malaysian Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Ouyang Yujing thanked Ma Fang for his thoughtful arrangements for taking office and arranged to submit a copy of his credentials as soon as possible.
Ouyang said that China has always regarded Malaysia as a good neighbor and partner, and has high hopes for the development prospects of Sino-Malaysia relations.
At present, China and Malaysia are facing the important task of fighting the epidemic, stabilizing the economy and protecting people’s livelihood.
As the new Chinese ambassador to Malaysia, I am willing to work with the Malaysian government and friends from all walks of life to make every effort to promote the new and greater development of bilateral relations.
On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Wang warmly welcomed Ambassador Ouyang to take office, saying that China is an important partner of Malaysia, with rich connotations of cooperation between the two countries and close integration of interests.
