Biden and his wife Jill Biden delivered New Year’s speech on ABC’s “New Year’s Rock Night” according to the Hill. When showrunner Ryan Seacrest asked what they wanted to say to frontline workers fighting COVID-19 everywhere in 2020.
“We salute them, they are brave, come forward and do a lot,” Biden said. They risked their lives and did so much for us. We owe them, we owe them, we owe them.”
Jill Biden said: “We are very grateful for what they have done. You know, they left their homes and homes for our safety, and all Americans are truly grateful for all they do for us.”
The report said that Biden’s New Year’s speech comes as the coronavirus epidemic is still raging in the United States. The United States has reported more than 19 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 and more than 344,000 deaths, according to data released by Johns Hopkins University.
