December 30 that a second coronavirus infection group appeared in Sydney, Australia, and the authorities further tightened the control measures for the countdown on New Year’s Eve.
According to Bloomberg, Australian Governor Berry Gicleen of New South Wales said that 18 new confirmed cases were reported on Tuesday evening (29th), 9 of which came from Sydney’s northern beaches.
It is reported that the new infection group appeared in Croydon, a suburb of Sydney’s inner west, where six confirmed cases were reported, and the six people were related.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Sydney’s first infected group on Sydney’s northern beaches is reported to be 138, and about 250,000 people there are still under lockdown.
