December 28th local time, President-elect Biden announced the appointment of the White House digital team.
The team will be primarily responsible for announcing the latest government developments to the American people through online platforms.
The team consists of 12 Democrats who have worked on Biden’s presidential campaign, transition group or founding committee.
These staff members will enter the White House after Biden takes office on January 20.
The following are some of the main appointments:
Rob Flaherty: Director of Digital Strategy, formerly the director of digital in the Biden campaign.
Jamie Lopez: Director of Digital Platforms.
Brendan Cohen: Platform Manager for Digital Operations, former editorial deputy director for Biden’s campaign.
Biden said in a statement: “Transparent and honest communication with the American people is one of the most important duties of the president.
This diverse team of diverse experts with extensive experience in digital strategy will use innovative ways to help the White House connect with the American people.”
