According to the British Guardian, on the 24th local time, the United Kingdom and the European Union reached a post-Brexit trade agreement.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced the news in a statement on the same day, saying that “the agreement has been finalized”.
Prime Minister Johnson also confirmed the news.
In response, a spokesman for the British Labour Party said, “The Labor Party has been urging the government and the European Union to reach a trade agreement because it is in the national interest.
We will formally respond to this agreement in due course.”
