Recently, Brazil’s polling agency Datafolha conducted a telephone interview with 2016 people. The results show that despite the recent deterioration of the coronavirus epidemic in Brazil, the home quarantine rate in the country has dropped to 39%, the lowest since the outbreak.
7% of the respondents said that living as usual during the epidemic was the same as before the epidemic; 54% of the respondents said that they were still cautious in the face of the epidemic, but chose to go out when work and life needed; these two statistics were 4% and 24% respectively in April this year.
Only 5% of the respondents said that they were completely quarantined at home in December, and the figure was as high as 21% in April this year. Compared with April, the proportion of people who only went out when they had to go out increased from 34% to 54% in December.
The proportion of respondents who maintained the habit of wearing masks during the epidemic, occasionally wearing masks and almost no masks, were 88% and 2% respectively.
