December 22nd local time, the Supreme Council of Oman held a meeting to study the announcements of various countries around the world on the variant of the novel coronavirus and the measures taken by countries to protect individuals and society from violent virus attacks and rapid transmission.
Oman’s Supreme Council decided to ban the closure of the border for one week from 1 a.m. on December 22, 2020, and prohibit access to the border by any means. The decision is exempted from cargo aircraft, ships and trucks.
Oman’s Supreme Council will continue to monitor the epidemiological status of the variant strain of the novel coronavirus and make appropriate decisions accordingly.
