Kuwait’s civil aviation department issued a statement on the afternoon of the 20th local time, saying that in view of the discovery of a new more infectious variant of the novel coronavirus in the United Kingdom

in order to avoid the spread of the virus in Kuwait, the civil aviation department, in coordination with the health department, decided to ground civilian flights from Kuwait to and from the United Kingdom, and listed the United Kingdom.

On the list of high-risk countries for the epidemic, Kuwait is also the first Arab country to announce a grounding of flights to Britain.
