According to the website of the Times of India on December 17, India successfully test-fired India’s “Earth-II” ballistic missile in Balathol, Orissa, on December 16.
According to the report, the “Earth-II” ballistic missile was developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization of India. It can carry a warhead weighing 500 to 1,000 kilograms and install a nuclear combat department. On October 16 this year, India also conducted a test launch of the missile.
After the successful test launch, the Indian Ministry of Defense said that the missile adopts an advanced inertial guidance system and can hit the target through maneuver reorbiting.
It is reported that India has recently conducted many missile weapon tests. The Indian Ministry of Defense previously said that it successfully tested the “Bramos” supersonic cruise missile, and then India successfully tested the Shaurya hypersonic tactical ballistic missile, SMART supersonic anti-submarine missile and India’s first domestic anti-radiation missile Rudram-1.
