On the same day, the “2018-2019 Census Final Data” released by the National Bureau of Statistics of Italy showed that the aging of the country’s population was further aggravated.
From 2011 to 2019, the average age of residents rose from 43 to 45 years old, and the proportion of the population over 65 years old increased from 20.8% to 23.2%.
