The highest infection rate of COVID-19 in the UK! The pandemic prevention level in London, England has been upgraded to the highest level
The British Health and pandemic Prevention Agency announced that starting from Wednesday (16th), the pandemic prevention level in London, England, and parts of Essex and Hertfordshire in the southeastern England, will be upgraded from the previous level 2 to the third level, which is the highest level of the level of pandemic prevention currently implemented in England.
In the third-level pandemic prevention zone, restaurants, bars and other catering places can only retain takeout services, stores can continue to operate, sports venues cannot take spectators to hold large-scale events, theaters and cinemas must be closed, and the number of outdoor gatherings cannot exceed six people.
Indoor gatherings between different families are prohibited. People can’t travel.
After the UK ended its second national lockdown in early December, London’s pandemic prevention level was set at level 2, but every seven days, the infection rate in London doubled.
At present, the rate of COVID-19 infection in some communities in eastern London has risen to about 350 per 100,000 people, the highest in the UK.
