December 11th U.S. Navy said it was looking for a sailor who fell off the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt off the coast of Southern California.
According to a statement issued by the U.S. Navy, the search and rescue ship began to search and rescue work “after surveillance personnel found someone in the water” on the 10th. Shortly thereafter, a sailor was confirmed to be missing. The Navy has now added three search and rescue helicopters and Coast Guard vessels to assist in the search.
It is reported that the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt arrived in Guam at the end of March this year and had to dock there due to the large-scale outbreak of the ship, which was quarantined for two months.
