December 11 According to South Korean media reports, the Ministry of Justice of South Korea revealed on the 11th that Zhao Douchun, the prototype criminal of the film Suyuan, will be released from prison at about 6 a.m. local time on the 12th.
It is reported that in general, people released from prison will be released after 5 a.m., but considering the emergency situation of Zhao Douchun’s release from prison and compliance with the rules of COVID-19 epidemic prevention, the release time will be adjusted.
Before getting out of prison, Zhao Douchun will wear an electronic foot chain to protect observers to confirm whether there is an abnormal signal and take pictures of the wearing of electronic devices.
After that, Zhao Douchun will leave the prison at about 6 a.m. local time on the 12th and take an official vehicle to the Anshan Conservation Observatory near his place of residence. At the protection observation center, the prescribed procedures such as declaration, compliance notification, system input, etc. will be carried out.
Then, Zhao Douchun will take official bus to his residence again.
The Ministry of Justice plans to set up an internal supervision device in Zhao Douchun’s residence and will reconfirm the abnormal signal.
A person in the Ministry of Justice explained: “If you take a mass vehicle, there may be an emergency during the movement. In this case, the electronic foot chain may be damaged, so you decide to use the official car.”
Zhao Douchun was sentenced to 12 years in prison in September 2009 on suspicion of kidnapping, rape and injuring primary school students in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, in December 2008. He will be released from prison on the upcoming 12 December 2020
