December 10th, New Media Special Foreign Media reported that U.S. President-elect Joe Biden vowed on Tuesday that he would distribute 100 million coronavirus vaccines to the American people in the first 100 days after taking office, and said that he would implement the executive order of “persevere wearing masks for 100 days” within his authority.
Biden said, “Our team will help in vaccinate Americans with at least 100 million coronavirus vaccines in the first 100 days,” Biden said on December 9. He further clarified: “100 million vaccinations in 100 days.”
Biden said the distribution of vaccines would be a “huge project”, but his administration will work to make vaccines available to “those at highest risk”, including health care workers, people in long-term care facilities, etc.
According to the report, vaccine distribution is only one of the three goals of the anti-epidemic plan introduced by Biden.
Biden said he would also issue an executive order to wear masks in the first 100 days and work with governors to also make a requirement to wear masks at the state level.
“Please insist on wearing a mask for a hundred days. This is the easiest way we can to reduce COVID-19 cases and reduce hospitalization and mortality. Biden stressed: “No matter what your political opinion is, please put on a mask as soon as you go to work and stick to it for a hundred days. A hundred days can make a difference. This is not a political formation, but patriotic behavior.

Biden said he would sign an executive order requiring face masks on his first day in office, covering his mandate, “such as inside federal agency buildings, on interstate flights, on trains and cars, etc.”
Biden also wants to implement a plan to get all kids back to school, the report said.
