On the same day, the French naval group announced some details about the new aircraft carrier.

According to the introduction, the total length of the new aircraft carrier will reach 300 meters, the deck width will be 80 meters, the water line will be 40 meters, and the displacement will reach 75,000 tons, all indicators will exceed the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.

The new aircraft carrier will be able to accommodate 2,000 sailors and carry 30 fighter jets.

Macron also said on the same day that Famatong will manufacture important parts for the new aircraft carrier, and his visit was also to express his support for the development of the nuclear energy industry.

Macron said that France’s energy, ecology and economic future will be built through nuclear energy, which represents 3,000 enterprises, 220,000 jobs, and 5,000 new jobs in 2021.
