December 8th – On theĀ 8th local time, Michael Gove, the British Cabinet Secretary of Staff, said on Twitter that the Joint Committee on the Brexit Agreement between the United Kingdom and the European Union has reached an agreement in principle on all issues. Gove expressed his gratitude to the Vice President of the European Commission, Maros Severkovic, and his team.
According to a statement released on the official website of the British government, the co-chairs of the Joint Commission, Gove and Sepukovych held a political meeting on the 7th to discuss key issues in the implementation of the Brexit agreement.
The two agreed that agreements in principle could be announced on all issues, especially those concerning Ireland and Northern Ireland.
