Biden said his top priority was getting Congress to pass the stimulus package, which would be done before he was in the White House, the report added. He also talked about how he would reach out to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to get his cabinet nomination and as many other proposals as possible to pass the Senate smoothly.
In addition, Friedman wrote that Biden reiterated his previous position that if Iran “strictly abides by the rules”, he would return the United States to the Iran nuclear agreement and lift the sanctions imposed on Iran by the Trump administration. “It’s difficult, but it will do so.”
