Only one minute apart! An American couple married for 47 years and died of the coronavirus the same day.
December 1st – A Michigan couple died two days before Thanksgiving. They have been married for 47 years because of COVID-19.
Leslie McWaters and Patricia McWaters died of COVID-19 on November 24, according to NBC, only one minute apart. Patricia, 78, is a nurse and has worked in a local hospital for 35 years. Leslie, 75, is a truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve.
Their daughter Joanna said: “It’s beautiful, but it’s tragic. Losing one is painful enough, and losing parents at the same time is the worst.” Joanna said that her mother died first. Leslie and Patricia have two daughters, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
