Konashenkov said that the local people who had left the nagorno karabakh region due to the war had begun to return home one after another. On November 30, a total of 1,699 people returned to Stepanakert, an important city in the nagorno karabakh region. More than 25,000 refugees have returned home since November 14.
At present, Armenia and Azerbaijan continue to organize personnel to search for the remains of soldiers killed in the war and exchange the remains of their bodies. The post-war reconstruction work on the ground is also continuing, and the repair of several transmission towers, substations and a gas pipeline has been completed.
Konashinkov also said that the Russian army deployed a field special hospital in the Stepanakert airport area on the same day to provide medical assistance to the local people. The Russian army is still continuing to carry out explosive ordnance disposal work.
According to the official website of the President of Armenia, earlier on November 30, Armenian President Sargsyan wrote to Russian President Putin, asking Russia to assist Armenian soldiers and civilians captured by Azerbaijan to return home.
