November 27, local time, the Russian President’s Information Bureau announced that Putin’s annual large-scale press conference in 2020 will be held on December 17, and the registration of journalists will start on November 29.
Affected by the pandemic, this press conference will be conducted remotely by means of video. Russian President Putin will video-connect with media representatives at his new Ogaliev mansion, and media representatives will work in the International Trade Center.
At the same time, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Presidential Information Bureau, journalists from various federal entities outside the capital will connect with Moscow remotely at designated locations.
In addition, the number of staff members of various Moscow media participating in the video connection will be strictly limited. Print media shall not exceed one person, and each TV station can send one reporter and one cameraman.
