77 cases of Variant COVID-19 infection found in South Africa in the UK

January 24th local time, British Health Secretary Hancock told the BBC that 77 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United Kingdom have been confirmed to be infected with Variant COVID-19 found in South Africa; all of these cases are imported from abroad rather than domestic transmission in the United Kingdom.

In addition, the United Kingdom has found nine cases of Variant coronavirus in Brazil. Hancock said that the UK is closely monitoring every case.
