February 6th, local time, the Ministry of Support of the Abu Dhabi government in the United Arab Emirates announced that from February 7, at least 70% of employees of the Abu Dhabi government and the government’s public sector will work remotely from home.

In addition, all government employees who have not been vaccinated will be tested for COVID-19 nucleic acid every week.

This is one of the latest measures taken by the UAE government in response to the recent growing pandemic, after Abu Dhabi and Ain have closed cinemas and imposed restrictions on passenger flow ceilings in shopping malls, restaurants and other consumer places.
