Baghdad, January 12 The Iraqi military said on the 12th that the United States-led International Coalition against the Extremist Organization Islamic State killed seven militants when the sky attacked the Islamic State militants’s hiding places in Kirkuk Province in northern Iraq.
The Iraqi Joint Operations Command issued a statement saying that the League of Nations carried out air strikes on the Islamic State cache in the southern mountains of Kirkuk Province at dawn that day.
Subsequently, Iraqi security forces found explosive devices, communication equipment and tunnels in the hiding place.
In December 2017, Iraq announced its historic victory against the Islamic State, but there are still residual extremists waiting for an opportunity to launch an attack in Iraq.
