55 Senators of the Russian Federation Council Self-Quarantined Due to COVID-19

December 24 Mattwienko, chairman of the Russian Federation Council (Upper House of Parliament), said that a total of 55 senators are currently in isolation due to COVID-19 or close contact with confirmed patients.

Matt Vienko said that the vast majority of senators infected with the novel coronavirus are mild patients. The Russian Federation Council has a total of 187 senators.
