The health department of the Andalusia region of Spain reported on December 28, local time that there were five new cases of mutated new coronavirus infections discovered in the United Kingdom on the same day.

All five patients entered Spain from the United Kingdom in the past few days, and three of them were in Spain. In the province of Malaga, the other 2 cases are in the province of Granada, and there are 4 suspected cases in the research and confirmation stage.

The Andalusian regional government hopes that the Spanish government will take measures to strengthen inspections of people infected with the new crown virus and the mutant new crown virus at airports and other ports.
