4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in Elaze, Turkey

January 17, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the southeastern province of Elaze, Turkey, with a focal depth of 17 kilometers.

Kolek, governor of Elaze Province, said that the earthquake had no negative impact on local life.

On January 24, 2020, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in Elaze Province, causing serious casualties and property damage.
