Syrian state news agency quoted Syrian military sources on the 24th local time as saying that a terrorist attack on a bus carrying Syrian army soldiers was carried in Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria that afternoon, killing three Syrian army soldiers and injuring 10 Syrian army soldiers.

According to the Syrian News Agency, the bus attacked was moving from Deir ez-Zor, the capital of Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria to the Palmyra region in central Syria.

Shortly after the exit, it was attacked by terrorists and caught fire, killing three Syrian government soldiers and 10 Syrian army soldiers injured.

At present, no organization or individual have claimed to have carried out the attack, but the Syrian media has recently sent 70 extremist militants to its Tanfu military base in southern Syria, waiting for an opportunity to launch an attack on the Syrian army.

The attack occurred in the southern desert of Syria, which is also a remnant of extremist organizations and the U.S. military base in Tanfu, where the activities of the southern Syrian region is frequent.

On December 30 last year, a bus was attacked by a terrorist attack near the site of the attack, killing 25 civilians and injuring 13 others.
